AUGI Top Daug 2011 results [ext]

This makes very interesting reading... the difference in peoples perception of their own abilities is so different to the figures that are exposed by something as independent (and completely non-subjective) as KnowledgeSmart.

Only 4.5% scored about 75% in the AutoCAD 2D test - which is terrible considering the test is really straightforward.

Revit Architecture surprised me, as the results were totally skewed the other way, demonstrating that good Revit users might be hard to find, but if you can, they really know how to drive the software well.

And a special mention to 3DS, where the results were appalling! Look at the average of the top 10, and ask yourself whether the amount your company pays out on 3DS for those people who "must have it, it's the only thing they can use" is money well spent. To put it into perspective, Evolve's Mr Heselwood (when he could tear himself away from socialising) scored over 30% by guessing the answers! The people who actually tried clearly don't know the product as well as they should!
